LifeWorks NW is one of only a few Oregon providers that serves people of all ages. From supporting a family expecting a new baby to providing mental health services for older adults, our programs are made to support people through every stage of life.
Support during early development and school age-years can make a big difference for children and families. When we work with you and your child, we can support healthy development and help with challenges before they become bigger problems. Our prevention programs help families and children build skills and confidence, helping lower the chance of future mental health or substance use issues. If your child needs more support, we also offer psychiatric services, mental health care, and treatment.
Mental health and drug or alcohol problems often begin in the teen and young adult years, which can impact the whole family. We help young people and their families build coping skills and strengthen relationships during a period of rapid change. For more complex needs, special programs for addiction, mental health, and residential services offer more support, so young people can feel more stable and move forward.
Our mental health and addiction services for adults are based on each person’s needs and goals. We can help with everyday stress, ongoing mental health concerns, and more serious conditions. We offer intensive support for people living with illnesses such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Our residential treatment homes provide a safe, structured place for individuals recovering from drug or alcohol addiction or who need a higher level of mental health care.
Older adults can face mental health needs that look different later in life. Changes in health, loneliness, or memory can affect emotional wellbeing. We provide care in places that feel familiar, including care homes. With steady, on-site support, we help older adults stay connected, feel more stable, and get the care they need.
