Bridge Clinic
The Bridge Clinic provides treatment for Portland-area youth and young adults who need urgent psychiatric services. We serve:
- Youth under 18 and their families
- Young adults 18 to 20 years old who have developmental delays
We offer:
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Medication management
- Brief therapeutic interventions
We offer weekly or monthly services for up to six months. All evaluations are in-person, with hybrid sessions available for some follow-up appointments, if medically appropriate. We also provide crisis support and urgent medication management support Monday through Friday during business hours.
Our team develops treatment plans based on client and family needs. One mission of the Bridge Clinic is to train the next generation of psychiatric and medical providers. When enrolled in the program, you may encounter many different members of the team, including:
- A child psychiatric
- Providers who see clients on Fridays
- Doctors who have completed medical school and are training in psychiatry
- Medical students
- Psychiatric care coordinators
Sometimes, treatment plans include referrals to additional mental health services. Other LifeWorks NW programs that offer ongoing therapy and medication support include:
- Child & Family Outpatient Mental Health
- Early Assessment and Support Alliance (EASA)
- Transition-Age Youth (TAY)
Youth in the program must live in Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington County and have Oregon Health Plan (OHP) coverage through CareOregon or Open Card OHP. We do not accept Trillium Community Health Plan.
