Mental Health Response Team (MHRT)
The Mental Health Response Team (MHRT) offers support to people in crisis in Washington County. In this unique program, a crisis clinician and a law enforcement officer work together to respond to 911 calls with a mental health component. Both members receive advanced crisis intervention training. As a team, they provide a rapid response and minimize the risk of escalation. The team also provides follow-up to connect people to services and support.
MHRT is a partnership with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, staffed by LifeWorks NW clinicians. You can learn more about the MHRT program on the Washington County website.
